Founded in the 13th century by Margueritte de Bourgogne, this former hospital establishment offers a totally new immersive tour that will appeal to young and old alike, and make for a great time with family and friends. Discover an exceptional historical monument: the Hôtel-Dieu de Tonnerre is the longest medieval hospital in Europe, and one of the oldest!
During your visit, try to find the Treasure Room, containing the finest pieces in the hospital's collection, and housing the treasure of Margueritte de Bourgogne, Countess of Tonnerre, Queen of Naples, Sicily and Jerusalem and founder of the Hôtel-Dieu.
